About SY11
SY11 events was established on June 11, 2020, inspired by the desire of opera soprano Sonya Yoncheva and her team to help audiences see, hear and experience the most creative artists from around the world. We bring together on one stage (and on one screen) the works of the most ingenious and talented singers, musicians, conductors, composers, directors, designers, painters, choreographers, production designers, actors and dancers from over the world.

Our mission
Art, through music and opera, makes a documentation of the whole human path, of the whole human history. While today we have different types of media, in the past, one of the few ways to get information was through the arts. Opera can be viewed as the first multimedia in the world, where music, singing and acting collide to make us feel the universal emotions of love, despair, joy, fear, jealousy and hope, or what really matters in life. Throughout history, all of this has been recorded and handed down by our ancestors. Thus, it is our mission to preserve its purity, to pass it on to the future generations of artists and spectators, who will continue to record history and make culture.
